The People's Liberation Army Navy Museum is China's premier naval-themed military museum, located in the coastal area of Shinan District, Qingdao, Shandong Province, facing the Yellow Sea, adjacent to Lu Xun Park and Little Qingdao Park, offering beautiful scenery. The museum covers an area of approximately 94,000 square meters on land and about 141,000 square meters at sea, with the main exhibition hall covering around 47,000 square meters. It showcases the complete development history of the People's Navy from its establishment to its advancement into the 'deep blue' through over 4,000 artifacts, more than 1,200 images, sculptures, and multimedia exhibits. The museum is divided into an indoor main exhibition hall and a large outdoor equipment exhibition area, where visitors can closely observe retired warships, nuclear submarines, aircraft, tanks, and coastal artillery. As a national defense education demonstration base, it serves as an important window to understand China's modern military and defense technology.
