· Museums, Culture & Arts
The Bat Cave is located in the northern valley of Sanmin Village and is a naturally formed massive cave. It is renowned for its beauty, as water cascades from above the cave entrance, earning it the nickname 'Water Curtain Cave.' Due to its rugged and primitive terrain, along with its proximity to the valley, it attracts a large number of bats to roost here, hence the name 'Bat Cave.' Today, the cave floor is covered with red soil, which is the accumulation of bat droppings from when thousands of bats inhabited the area, adding to its mysterious atmosphere.
