Fuyou Road Mosque is a historic mosque located on Fuyou Road in the Huangpu District of Shanghai. It serves as an important Islamic religious site in the old city and the Yuyuan shopping area. The mosque was established in the ninth year of the Tongzhi era of the Qing Dynasty (1870) and is known for its combination of traditional Chinese courtyard style with Islamic elements. The tranquil environment contrasts sharply with the bustling small commodity streets and the Yuyuan shopping mall nearby. The mosque was once presided over by one of the four great Islamic masters of China, Imam Dapusheng, for ten years, significantly influencing the Muslim community in East China. Located on the 'Golden Belt' of the Fuyou Road commercial area, it has also become a spot for tourists to visit and experience local religious culture while in the Yuyuan area.
