Su'ao Jin'an Temple, commonly known as Zhang Gong Temple, is located in the urban area of Su'ao Township, Yilan County, near the city center and easily accessible. It is the oldest temple in the Su'ao area and an important center for local religious and folk culture. The temple primarily worships 'Fa Zhu Gong', whose full name is Zhang Gong Sheng Jun, a guardian deity originating from Quanzhou, Fujian, reflecting the early immigration of Han people from Quanzhou to Su'ao.

The Mazu enshrined in Jin'an Temple has a history of over two hundred years, creating a solemn and serene atmosphere that brings peace to the soul. Located near the third fishing port of Nanfangao along the Su-Nan Highway, it is said that in the 19th century, a Tangshan sailing ship, seeking refuge from the northeast monsoon, brought Mazu from the ship's cabin to a stone cave on land for worship. Eventually, Mazu decided to stay in this place to bless the fishermen.
