Travel Tips

• Best seasons to visit Spring and autumn are the most comfortable, with cool, non-humid weather that is ideal for camping and cycling. Summer is hot, but it can be combined with Fulong Beach and the park’s water activities, making it the peak season for water play. In winter, the northeast monsoon brings strong winds and cooler conditions, but there are fewer crowds and a quieter atmosphere. • Reservations and itinerary planning Advance reservations are recommended for camping and cabins, especially on weekends and consecutive holidays when availability fills quickly. It is best to confirm campsite type and party size in advance. It is recommended to plan for two days or more. During the day, you can visit Fulong Beach, Caoling Historic Trail, or other nearby Northeast Coast attractions, then return to the campsite in the evening for barbecue, campfire activities, and stargazing. • Equipment and clothing suggestions Campers should bring their own tent, sleeping bag, and other equipment. If you do not have gear, check in advance whether rental services are available and what quantities can be provided. Because the park is close to the coast, there is a noticeable temperature difference between day and night and the sea breeze can be strong. Bring a warm jacket, windproof outerwear, and rain gear; non-slip sports shoes or river-tracing sandals are recommended. For water activities, bring a change of clothes, a waterproof bag, and personal toiletries. In summer, do not forget a hat, sunscreen, and enough drinking water. • Safety and environmental protection When taking part in water activities and canoeing, be sure to follow on-site safety rules, wear a life jacket, and listen to the instructions of instructors or staff. For camping and barbecues, use only designated areas and equipment according to park regulations. Sort your trash and take it to the designated recycling points to help protect the riverside ecological environment. • Getting around the park The park covers a large area, so it is recommended to combine walking with cycling. Before your visit, learn the layout of campsites and facilities to make itinerary planning easier and help parents traveling with children manage movement within the park. • Suitable travelers Especially suitable for first-time campers, families with children, school field trips, and corporate groups. The facilities are relatively complete and the terrain is flat, so you can experience a full camping lifestyle without having to go into the mountains.

Nearby Dining

There is a restaurant and a convenience shop in the park, so visitors can have simple meals and buy drinks and snacks. Meal arrangements or barbecue ingredients can also be booked in advance, which is very convenient for travelers who do not want to prepare too much equipment or food. The Fulong area is known for its Fulong lunchboxes and many snack shops, making it a good place to eat while walking around the beach or station area and to restock supplies before or after camping while sampling local flavors. Nearby Gongliao and the Fulong corridor also have lodging and dining options, allowing flexible arrangements for lunch, dinner, or late-night snacks based on transportation and itinerary.
