Skydeck Chicago is located on the 103rd floor of the Chicago landmark Willis Tower (formerly Sears Tower) and is one of the highest observation decks in the United States. Visitors can overlook the Chicago skyline and Lake Michigan, with views extending up to about 50 miles on clear days, reaching as far as Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Michigan. The lower level features an interactive museum that introduces Chicago's history, architecture, and diverse community culture through multimedia installations. The signature attraction, 'The Ledge' glass boxes, extend from the building's exterior, with transparent glass only about 1.5 inches thick beneath your feet, providing an exhilarating experience of standing in mid-air.
