Overview

The Japan Folk Crafts Museum is a folk art-themed museum located in the Expo Memorial Park Cultural Zone in Suita City, Osaka Prefecture, showcasing the beauty of everyday crafts such as ceramics, dyeing, woodworking, lacquerware, and weaving. The building was originally an exhibition hall for the 1970 Osaka Expo and was later converted into a museum, situated near a Japanese garden, rose garden, and the National Museum of Ethnology.

It is about a 15-minute walk from the Osaka Monorail 'Expo Memorial Park Station' or about a 15-minute walk from 'Park East Entrance Station'. You can also walk about 15 minutes from the 'Japanese Garden Front' bus stop.

Holders of disability certificates and one accompanying person can enter for free.
