Overview

Centuries-old banyan trees gather on the northern shore of Taihu Lake, giving rise to the imagery of 'Rongyuan'. Most of the banyan trees in the park have taken root here for decades, with their aerial roots thick and strong, and their branches and leaves winding through the sky, forming large green canopies that provide a great place for people to cool off. Meeting here in the afternoon to play chess and drink tea is the most authentic scene of life in Kinmen.
