What to See

1. Tofu-shaped reefs and sand neck cape landform: Tofu Cape is formed by the connection of land-linked islands and sandbars, making it the most iconic sand neck landform in Taiwan. The cape's reefs have been eroded by seawater over time, resulting in a block-like appearance resembling tofu, creating a rare tofu-shaped reef landscape that is perfect for landscape photography and nature observation. 2. Small bay seawater bathing area: The cape bay is semi-enclosed and curved, with the concave side facing the ocean. The bay entrance has breakwaters and interception nets to reduce wind and waves, making the water relatively calm. It is designated as a natural seawater bathing area, suitable for summer water activities, swimming, snorkeling, and family beach outings, and is also popular for morning swims and sunrise viewing. 3. Coastal trails and scenic rest areas: The park includes an entrance plaza, long pavilion scenic rest area, beach activity area, lawn area, and embankment area. Coastal trails connect the terraced areas and viewing platforms, allowing visitors to stroll easily while enjoying views of Nanfangao Fishing Port and the sea, and to overlook the entire cape bay terrain from high points. 4. Military bunkers and coastal cliff views: The end of the trail is near the seaside cliffs, where visitors can see former military bunkers built with slate, which have now become popular photo spots. The combination of steep cliffs, waves, and reefs creates a coastal landscape rich in historical significance. 5. Sea fishing and coral ecological environment (observation only): On the outer side of the cape bay, steep reefs and the Bihai Mountain terrain can be seen. The Kuroshio Current brings abundant fish and coral ecosystems, making it a sought-after fishing spot and popular area for coral observation. While most visitors focus on water recreation, they can also experience the richness of local fisheries and marine resources.

If planning to participate in water activities, swimwear, towels, and a change of clothes are recommended. Although the bay has interception nets and sea walls for protection, some areas still have reefs and elevation changes, so parents should pay attention to children's safety and avoid swimming or climbing on reefs in restricted or warning areas.
