The interior of the fort is relatively narrow, and some areas are dimly lit, so it is recommended to wear comfortable, non-slip shoes and be cautious of headroom and stair safety. During winter, the northeast monsoon in Kinmen and Lieyu can be strong and damp, making the coastal temperature feel even lower; warm and windproof clothing is advisable. In summer, with strong sunlight and long outdoor hours, remember to bring sunscreen and water. The area consists mostly of open military sites, so be careful while taking photos, avoid climbing on old structures to ensure personal safety and preserve the historical building.
