Wuhu Mountain is located near the Shanhou settlement. It stands 127 meters tall and is Kinmen’s second-highest mountain. The summit has a viewing platform and is well suited for hiking and trekking. From there, visitors can overlook Shanhou Village and gaze across to the opposite shore.

Ronghu is an artificial lake formed by the diversion of the Jinsha River, built in 1972, and is one of the five major lakes in Kinmen. The lakeside is lined with windbreak trees and features small pavilions and arch bridges, with the Dongmei Pavilion, built in memory of the philosopher Fang Dongmei, and the Huxiao Bridge spanning the center of the lake being the most prominent. On the southern bank, there is a famous wind lion god, characterized by its large eyes and wide mouth, which adds a charming touch.

Jinsha Reservoir is one of the winter habitats for migratory waterfowl in Kinmen, where numerous species such as the Red-necked Duck, Red-breasted Duck, Little Grebe, and Mandarin Duck can be found each winter, along with dozens of Bean Geese passing through.
